Brewing Guide

Make a tea concentrate by steeping 2 grams of loose leaf or 1 pyramid per ~100mL of boiling water (95 - 100°C) for 3 - 4 minutes. Remove pyramids, let cool, and store in the fridge for up to a week, diluting with cold water & ice when ready to serve

Is this Iced Peach tea organic?

Yes, our Iced Peach blend is made using ingredients sourced from certified organic suppliers. As a new brand, we're currently in the process of completing our own organic certification, which takes time to finalise. We expect to have this in place soon and remain committed to organic sourcing across our range.

Does this tea contain caffeine?

Yes. As a black tea, our Iced Peach blend naturally contains caffeine. A typical cup contains around 40-70mg of caffeine, which is slightly less than a flat white or latte made with a single espresso shot (about 60-80mg).

Unlike coffee, black tea also contains L-theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid that promotes calm alertness. In combination with caffeine, L-theanine helps deliver a smoother, more sustained energy with fewer jitters - making French Earl Grey an elegant everyday lift.

Is this tea available in loose leaf and teabags?

Yes, our iced tea is available in both loose leaf and in our premium neosoilon pyramid tea bags.

Do Idyll's pyramid tea bags contain microplastics?

No, our pyramid tea bags do not contain microplastics. They are made from 100% non-GMO sugarcane. Being 100% plant-based our tea bags are safe, non-toxic, environmentally-friendly, and biodegradable.

Can you drink this Iced Peach blend hot and cold?

Yes. We blended this Iced Peach tea so that it is particularly refreshing drunk cold over ice, however you can also brew it hot as you would any other black tea.

What does this tea taste like?

A clean, moderately-bold black tea flavour combined with natural peach sweetness. You will also pick up subtle hints of vanilla, passionfruit and orange blossom and papaya.
