What is an Earl Grey Matcha - and How Do I Make One?
An Earl Grey Matcha blends matcha with the citrus profile of Earl Grey, creating a drink that is structured, sweet and refreshing. It is usually enjoyed with milk as a latte.
At Idyll, we prefer ours iced. Served cold, the contrast becomes cleaner and more defined - crisp matcha, with a citrus finish. We also use French Earl Grey for our tea concentrate, adding floral notes to the latte and making a more aromatic cup.
Ingredients You’ll Need

Organic French Earl Grey – lightly scented black tea with bergamot and floral notes

Ice

Milk or plant milk

Optional: honey or raw sugar (we don't think this is necessary if you are using a high-quality matcha like Idyll's)
