We offer two English Breakfast teas. The first is our Organic English Breakfast sourced from certified organic suppliers. The second is our Premium blend which is selected for its superior, balanced, flavour and uses premium conventional black tea leaves.

Our Organic English Breakfast is produced from organically grown, high quality Assam leaves, whereby our Premium English Breakfast is a blend of conventionally grown Assam and Rwandan Rukeri.

Yes. As a black tea, it naturally contains caffeine. A typical cup of English Breakfast contains around 40-70mg of caffeine, which is slightly less than a flat white or latte made with a single espresso shot (about 60-80mg).

Unlike coffee, black tea also contains L-theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid that promotes calm alertness. In combination with caffeine, L-theanine helps deliver a smoother, more sustained energy with fewer jitters - making English Breakfast an ideal everyday lift.

Yes, our Organic English Breakfast is available in both loose leaf and in our premium neosoilon pyramid tea bags.

No, our pyramid tea bags do not contain microplastics. They are made from 100% non-GMO sugarcane. Being 100% plant-based our tea bags are safe, non-toxic, environmentally-friendly, and biodegradable.

Both options are full-bodied and malty with a smooth finish. Second-flush Assam provides the natural depth and body to remain flavourful when paired with milk.

We offer free standard shipping on Australian orders over $89; under $89 is a flat $5, or $15 for express. We deliver Australia-wide, including PO boxes, parcel lockers, and military addresses. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days to metro areas and 7–10 to WA, NT, and regional locations; express takes 1–3 and 2–4 business days respectively. You can add delivery instructions at checkout — orders default to “Authority to Leave.” Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking.

If your order arrives incorrectly please email hello@idylltea.com and we’ll make it right. Damaged or faulty items must be returned within 14 days of purchase — we recommend registered mail, as Idyll isn’t responsible for items lost in transit. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. We’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
